This is fan-art to "Fullmetal Alchemist" anime series. I should definetely say it's the best anime I ever seen. So I captured the scene of fighting between Fuhrer King Bradley (Wrath) and Ling Yao (Greed). The most interesting thing about these characters is that both of them are humans and in the same time not (they are homunculus based on human bodies). If you're intrigued you must watch these brilliant series

UPDATE: Added some cool stuff to fill the background
This is a fantastic piece dude. Reminds me so much of Patrick Browns work. I love your guys styles. This is a great homage to the series, and a fantasic battle to have picked for this.
I agree with what *patrickbrown has written. In addition to what Pat mentioned. I would add that because of the direction Wrath (eyepatch guy) is coming from. I don't think there would be any parks coming off of Greeds armored arm. Well not in the direction it is going. If you were to say that they are both so quick. Then I would say you would have an arced line of sparks coming from somewhere near behind Wraths head over to where his arm is now. This is based off of my idea that Greed has spun around from the left side of the image as Wrath has passed him.
Something you could look into would be, adding some very soft hint of reflected light from Greeds red lit arm, and or the sparks if you are happy with where they are. I under stand that maybe these aren't the biggest of light sources but I could help draw focus to the energy the two characters have in this image. The ground although done well seems a little uniform and and doesn't add to the dynamicness of the image that the characters bring.
Also be carefull with your light sources. The two characters faces lit up the way you have done seems to me that the faces almost have their own light source. Your colours are great. Very good colour palette. I think you should have a play around with making the shadows a little darker in areas, as this could help make the image pop more too.
Wow man, just WOW!! This is very impressive. Seriously this is some great work, you've asked for a critique so I'll see what I can pick out of this (By the way, my first crit ever)
VISION: At first look you can instantly see that it's a great piece of art, the way you've done the poses work perfectly. You probably know this already but the key to a great pose is to imagine how it would look as a silhouette. The flow in this is spot on, it shows so much movement and power
ORIGINALITY: Now I can't say much about the originality in this piece because I don't know ofFullmetal Alchemist, but since it is fanart i'll just give you 3 stars. It's very good fanart I might add
TECHNIQUE: I love your technique so much, you're one of my fave artists on DA, mainly because you remind me so much of myself 3 years ago I see so much potential in you and I know your artwork will be recognised all around the world. I will say a little about your technique on this piece though; as cool and fluint as it is, there are a few problems with proportions.. Like eye-patch guy, his arm right arm seems a bit too big, it should be a bit further back like his right leg. And some proportions with the face are out just a bit but these things kind of blend with the style anyway so they can be hard to spot, which is kind of good.. But it also means you could do even better
IMPACT: I think the impact is great! You can feel the tension between the two characters, and the vibes are great coming from the colour tones. All in all you've done very well!
I'm looking forward to your next pieces, keep up the great work champ! You rock! -Pat
Imo, its ending is perfect: of course it was obvious that things would turn good at the finale, but it was full of drama - this is my favorite point about it
It was mostly the fantasy rejection thing I didn't like. I'm generally not a fan of storywriters who write a story full of fantasy and they are like, "we really don't need this, actually" at the end. It's like the whole story is a bad joke, even though the statement is right. Edward could have saved his brother by giving up his alchemy without taking that attitude.
But like I said, I enjoyed it more than most mangas I've read.
